ZORAN PEZO
Born in Split, 1963. Graduated film direction, ADU Zagreb. Directed many commercials, video clips and events including main Croatian award ceremonies. He also directed „Ninja story“ in cult feature film „Kako je propao rokenrol“. Now working on television series „Kontrola, imamo problem“. Zoran was editor in chief of Croatian national chart Hit depo for more than 15 years, wrote columns for Playboy Croatia, and articles for television and many Croatian magazines.
ZORAN HAPP
Born in Zagreb, 1968. He started as director of photography. Directed many television productions, video clips and commercials. He also directed corporate films and many Government projects. His TV coverages of full length musical productions for biggest Croatian pop stars are among the best. Now working on „Tomine priče“ children fables TV series.
DAVOR FLAM
Born in Zagreb, 1975. He started as editor on television. Directed many commercials and video clips. He also directed many corporate films including difficult technical projects with 3D animations. Davor supervised complete video graphics solutions for main Croatian television and marketing events, „Večernjakov ekran“ and „Festo“. Now working on several Plavi film projects.
JOHN DOE
John Doe is a very simple idea. 4 creative minds, from 4 different parts of the world, joined together to get 4-times more input for any project they work on. Japan, Portugal, Peru and Croatia is the mix of nationalities that got together in 2003 to start the directing collective John Doe. Since then John Doe has done more than 40 commercials in different markets like: Germany, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Greece, Mexico, Austria, Romania, Croatia, Peru and Puerto Rico.
John Doe has won numerous awards in Festivals in New York, London, Argentina and Spain, but by far the most important is this year's Grand Prix for Direct Marketing in Cannes Advertising Film Festival for the "Banco Gallego" project with "The Lift" Production from Spain.
In Croatia John Doe is exclusively represented by "Plavi Film" from Zagreb.
HRVOJE MABIĆ
Born in Zagreb,1974. Member of Croatian Society of Film and TV Directors since 2005. Directed many documentary TV reports and promotional films. He is producer and director of TV documentary series “Direkt” witch won many awards in Croatia.
He also directed very popular comedy-drama reality show “Dvornikovi”. Now working on several documentary films and series.
SRDJAN SARENAC
Born in Sarajevo 1977. Graduated film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Serbia and finished postgraduate studies in screenwriting at Binger Film Lab, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
In 2003, he wrote and directed Poklon za Sanju (A Present For Sanja), which was selected for 10 international film festivals and broadcasted on national television.
In 2004 he directed the documentary series How was made Bosnian Top lists of Surrealists, which had its premiere on a prime time show for New Year's Eve 2004 and was the most watched documentary series in Bosnia in 2004.
In 2005 he directed the documentary Selma – the best ballad written by Goran Bregovic, who received- a public award for Best Movie shown out of official selection at the Documentary and Short Croatian Film Festival, in Zagreb.
In 2006 he directed Mile vs transition comedy show for B92m Belgrade, Serbia.
Srdjan developed his first feature, Spasen (THE RESCUED) at the Binger Filmlab in Amsterdam which become Winner of «la Bourse d'Aide au Développement, 28čme Festival Cinéma Méditerranéen Montpellier 2006.
